This week we have noticed that the weather is getting colder and we need to start dressing properly to go outside when it might be cold and wet.
On Tuesday Miss Shustack went to kindergarten to teach there and we welcomed some new students from her class to our room.
In Science we have started to learn about rocks and minerals. We learned that coal needs 750 000 lbs of pressure to become a diamond.
We've been learning about changes that happen in fall, we worked on our descriptive writing and are writing Autumn Acrostic Poems.
This week we went to the library for the first time. We will be going once a week. We need to make sure that our books are returned on time. They need to be taken care of by not ripping them, letting little brothers or sisters play with them, not eating while reading them, not spilling liquids on them, not drawing in them and keeping them in their plastic bags when we are not reading them.
We started to collect toonies for Terry Fox. Our Terry Fox run will be next Friday September 29th.
