Welcome back from Spring Break. The weather sure doesn't feel very spring like. The weather is supposed to warm up next week, students need to come to school wearing appropriate footwear for the conditions.
This week in Social Studies we are continuing to learn about Ukraine. We started a slide show presentation on google slides. We can log on at home to share these with our families. We also made Pysanka this week out of paper mache, they are Ukrainian Easter eggs. We will be decorating them next week.
In Math, Miss McLeod's group has been working on multiplication challenges. The students in Mrs McLellan's group are creating Array Cities. Ms Greaves group has been working on skip counting and making arrays to organize for multiplication.
In Science, we are starting to learn about hearing and sound. We talked about how hearing can affect our quality of life. We learned that sound travels in waves and they cause the bones in your eardrum to vibrate.
Next week the conference manager will be opening for parents to book their parent teacher interviews that are happening April 19th and 20th.
