This week in Social Studies we are beginning to research information about one of the four countries that we are studying.   We have found out about food that people eat in the different countries, the celebrations, famous places, famous people, landforms, climate and resources.  We are going to be using this information to create an infographic of our country.   An infographic shows information about something using pictures, graphs and words.  

In Math, all three groups have continued to work on patterns.  We have began to look at patterns in charts and number patterns.   

In Music we are learning about the instruments of the orchestra and composers.  We can go to the website http://www.sfskids.org/classic/templates/home.asp?pageid=1 to learn about the different parts of  the symphony.  

Tonight and tomorrow we are having student led conferences.  We look forward to sharing the work that we have been doing in class.
