This week we have been spending a lot of time getting ready for our art walk. The art walk will be taking place next Thursday night from 6:00 to 7:30. Students will come to the school to show their parents the art that was created with the artist in residence, check out the talent of some of our student buskers and stop by the cafe in the learning commons. We hope to see everyone there.
In gym this week we have started playing floor hockey and ringette games. We learned how to hold the stick, how to stick handle the puck and how to shoot.
In Social Studies we have started to fill out a study guide for our upcoming test on India. We will be having a test next Thursday March 15th.
Next Wednesday we are going to the Humane Society for a field trip. We won't be back until 1:00 PM so all students will need to bring a lunch that day.
Swim forms went home this week, they are due back next Friday March 16th.
This weekend daylight savings time begins. That means that on Saturday night you need to turn your clocks ahead one hour.
